Our planned re-launch of Sunday services has been postponed due the increased number of Covid-19 cases in our county. Health officials have predicted the virus spread may worsen during the winter months. Please continue to pray for our church family and our community as we plan for a future date to relaunch Sunday worship service on our church campus.

Let us ALL follow the safety guidelines and use common sense to protect ourselves and others. Especially during the winter holidays.

WE ARE STILL WORSHIPPING TOGETHER!!

You can join us on the MSBCDenton.com website, Facebook Live and the Morse Street Baptist Church YouTube channel every Sunday morning at 10:45 am.

Everyone is welcome to participate in our online Bible study classes and prayer activities. Checkout the church calendar at msbcdenton.com.

If you need anything, you can call the church office (940) 382-2577 and you can call me.

Hello Morse Street Family,

In my last COVID-19 update I stated we would exercise an abundantly cautious approach about when we will reopen our church campus. You probably are aware that the virus is spreading at an alarming rate. Texas and other states are daily reaching record highs of people contracting the virus. Some health officials predict the increase will continue and probably plateau around late September The Center of Disease Control Guidelines strongly discourage in-gathering activities.

Our campus will stay closed and all church activities will continue to be exclusively online until further notice. I deeply miss the fellowship and would love for us to open our church doors but right now it is too risky. We will continue to pray and monitor the situation.

In the meantime, we will not panic but keep praying for God’s provision and protection over the United States. Please continue to pray that God will guide and protect all of our government officials, medical professionals and the first responders. Let us ALL follow the safety guidelines and use common sense to protect ourselves and others.

Stay connected. Call other members and see how they are doing. Join the online Bible study classes and prayer activities. Checkout the church calendar at msbcdenton.com.

If you need anything, you can call the church office (940) 382-2577 and you can call me as well. And remember God got us!

Hello Morse Street Family,

We all have been praying for each other during this difficult time. But we are able to adjust to the necessary changes due to the strength our Lord Jesus gives us. Recently, Governor Abbott announced that the stay at home order will be lifted and many businesses and churches will be able to reopen with reduced capacities starting May 1st. That means that in-person worship service and other activities could be held as soon as this Sunday (May 3rd) with specific guidelines.

After prayerfully consulting with other pastors and our department directors I decided we will use the abundantly cautious approach about reopening our church campus. With safety first in mind, our campus will stay closed and all church activities will continue to be exclusively online. We will use the month of May as our preparation phase. Pastoral staff, directors and other leaders will prayerfully determine what the reopening phases will look like for our church. Hopefully, we can reopen in the June-July time-frame.

In the meantime, we find peace and contentment knowing that God is faithful in protecting and providing for us all. Please continue to pray that God will guide and protect all of our government officials, medical professionals and the first responders. Let us ALL follow the applicable guidelines and use common sense.

You will notice some churches will be reopening sooner than others, but we are making decisions that are best for our members and visitors. Check out the short video clips of me and other leaders that will keep you updated with information about our church.

If you need anything, you can call the church office (940) 382-2577. PLEASE feel free to call me as well.
